Once in Paros we got hit with some cold, windy weather. So instead of hitting the beautiful beach, we rented a… dune buggy? to explore the island.
We found a great taverna for lunch with authentic Greek cuisine - I am obsessed with what Greeks do with eggplant. My eggplant dish had dark and savory caramelized onions, garlic, and feta cheese on top. Another great family restaurant - our waitress grew up in Chicago but her mom is from this little town on Naxos called Lefkes.
We hit the island pretty hard in that dune buggy, but it was sooo cold! The wind cut me to the bones, so I had to cover up with our Moxigirl towel. We've gotten some great use out of this towel throughout our trip and I'll be sad to let it go.
Next stop is our last stop in the Greek Isles: Mykonos. Depression is sinking in as our trip wraps up!
