The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. The appetizer was avocado soup: cold soup, very light and airy, with hints of lemon and garlic. I'm going to try and recreate this when I get home. The main course was smoked salmon served over lentils: this was perfect - not too smokey to overpower the lightness of the salmon, tender, flaky, and went very nicely with the lentils. The dessert was a chocolate molten cake: rich chocolate explosion in your mouth with a creamy vanilla sauce and streams of raspberry and apricot to balance the heaviness of the chocolate. Really nice.
Reims Cathedral is where the French kings used to be crowned. There is a lot of great history here including the construction of the cathedral.
